Game Play In the Quack world the action is swift and splattery. Armed with nothing more than your wits and a sack of eggs, you must defeat everything that moves! Game World Quack V thrusts you into a real-time 3D environment. As the hero of the hour, it's your job to dash through different settings stopping the Srambler and his evil-deed-doing henchmen.
Heads Up Display (HUD) The HUD is comprised of all those little informative bits of flotsam that float on top of the action during game play. 1) Enemy Bar - Located at the top of the screen, this bar shows how many active enemies are still in the current level. As you splatter your opponents, their glyphs will vanish from this bar. The level is won when all adversaries are defeated. 2) Map - In the top right corner of the screen is a blueprint for the floorplan of the current level. The red dot indicates your current position. Use the map to keep track of your whereabouts. 3) Ammo - A strip of eggs (in the bottom left corner of the screen) shows how many tosses you have left. You start each level with three eggs and can carry up to a dozen. Additional eggs can be found in each level. If you run out of eggs, you won't be able to splatter your foes until you find more. 4) Health - The bar in the bottom right corner of the screen shows your general level of health. As your enemies splatter you, your health dwindles. When it runs out you are defeated. Be sure to grab health kits in each level before this happens! If you are defeated, you will be given the option to retry the level or to return to the main menu. Supplies Eggs - Individual eggs can be picked up to increase your amount of ammo. You can carry up to a dozen eggs at one time. Individual eggs will regenerate in the level a short time after having been picked up. Cartons - Picking up an egg carton will add up to six eggs to your ammo. Remember, though, that you can only carry a dozen eggs at one time and cartons do not regenerate. Use them wisely! Health Kits - Picking up a health kit will restore all of your health. Health kits do not regenerate after being picked up so use them sparingly. Enemies MacChicken Clan members - The Scrambler's cronies of choice, these feral chickens will try to surround and splatter you. Fortunately, clan members are susceptible to a single egg pelting. The Scrambler - Fiendishly clever and furiously fast, the Scrambler sports a "Teflon" coated suit that allows him to take a lot of splattering. Watch out! The Scrambler can throw up to five eggs at one time! Do you have what it takes to defeat him?
