Having difficulties defeating the forces of evil in Quack V? Maybe the following tips can help out. Or if you're really in need, jump right to the bottom for a few handy "magic" words that should shift the balance of power in your favor.

1. Study the level map in the upper-right corner of the HUD. Health kits and egg cartons can typically be found in out of the way places, such as backrooms or in corners. Learn where these items are so you can get to them when you need them.
2. Leave health kits alone until you really need them. One kit will restore all of your health.
3. Strafe (move side-to-side) and turn at the same time to keep enemies centered in your sights while making yourself harder to hit.
4. Adversaries don't retreat (doubleback) unless they have no other alternative. Use this knowledge to predict where they will move to and aim for that spot.
5. Stay close to corners. Step out and toss an egg; then quickly step back under cover to avoid enemy eggs.
6. Listen for popping sounds. These indicate the single eggs you picked up earlier have regenerated and can be picked up again.

Cheats
If you're still having trouble with the game, the following words of power might be of interest to you. While playing the game enter "Chat" mode (default "C" key), type in one of these words and hit enter.

• BLANKS - Typing this word will cause all adversaries to stop tossing eggs at you. This effect carries across levels. Enter the word again and they'll resume tossing.
• FREEZE - This word will stop all adversaries in their tracks. They won't move anywhere but they will continue to toss eggs at you. This effect carries across levels. Type this word again to allow your opponents the chance to move again.
• GIMME - Typing this word will give you an unlimited number of eggs. This effect carries across levels. Entering the word again will cause your supply of eggs to dwindle with each one you toss.
• IMMUNE - Typing this word will make you immune to the eggs of your enemies. You can still be hit, but you won't lose health. This effect carries across levels. Enter this word again to allow yourself to be injured.
• INFO - Typing this word will display information such as the game's framerate (how fast the game is drawing to the screen) and your position and orientation in the game world. Type this word again to stop showing the information.
• LEVEL 1 - Entering this word and number will instantly teleport you to the first level of the game (the supermarket).
• LEVEL 2 - Entering this word and number will instantly teleport you to the second level of the game (the sewer).
• LEVEL 3 - Entering this word and number will instantly teleport you to the third level of the game (the museum).
• XRAY - Typing this word will show all items and opponents on your map. Items are shown in gray and opponents are shown in black.
